DayBreak - Adult Day Services
Post Date: 05/19/2003

Sometimes there is a gap between independent living and long term care.
Daybreak is there to bridge that gap.
Many caregivers still have to work during the day.
This leaves a gap in the care needed for their aging loved one.

The mission of DayBreak is to "extend the opportunity for independent living and provide an alternative to institutional care".

Individuals with:
• Mild-Moderate Alzheimer's disease or Dementia disease
• Parkinson's
• Stroke/CVA or TIA
• Depression or those at risk of social isolation

This program offers a variety of services and activities, which includes a structured day filled with activities that are designed to meet a person's physical and mental abilities. Nursing services, social services, therapy services, lab services, and help with toileting, walking, and meal setup are available through our program. Additional services available for a small fee include showers and toenail care.
